2024 Summer Camp

Join us for Summer Camp!

We’re pleased to share that the center will host our annual Summer Camp program in 2024. Summer Camp is offered Monday-Friday during our normal operating hours (8:00a-5:30p) and closed on Federal Holidays.

Please note: Summer Camp 2024 at Small Savers is only open to families with children currently enrolled.

You don’t need to sign up or notify the center to have your children participate in Summer Camp; care will continue without interruption and at the same rate. While Summer Camp has been designed primarily for the children in the Primary classroom, there will also be activities planned for the children enrolled in the other classrooms.

Cost

For currently enrolled families, Summer Camp is available at no additional cost.

About the Experience

Each week’s activities are designed around a fun theme. For example, some of last year’s themes included Science Week, Space Week, Gardening Week, and Fairy Tales Week. Summer Camp will also include weekly “Water Days.” On these days, children can come to school dressed and ready to enjoy water-play activities in the center’s playground area, including a splash pool, sprinklers, and a water table. 

Children will also enjoy several in-house field trips which provide educational and interactive opportunities to explore new concepts. For example, last summer we hosted Squeals on Wheels (a miniature traveling petting zoo) and Blue Sky Puppets (a touring children’s theatre).

More information regarding what to bring to Summer Camp and the specific weekly themes/activities planned will be available by the Spring.
