Join Our Team

Small Savers Montessori has a Montessori curriculum for infants through primary. We are licensed by the District of Columbia Department of Health and are members of the American Montessori Society. Small Savers is interviewing candidates for the following positions:

Teacher Assistant/Floater, Substitutes 

Essential skills:

  • Experience in a childcare facility

  • Certification in First Aid and CPR for adults, children and infants

  • Growth mindset: a love of brainstorming ideas, collaborating, learning through feedback, always striving for excellence and growth

  • Willingness to embrace Montessori philosophy and obtain training

Required Qualifications:

  • The candidate should have a CDA, AA, or a 90 hr. certificate from the State of Maryland

  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management

  • Candidates must be proficient in speaking and writing English

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate with external parties

  • Negative TB Test and compliance with other health department rules
