Background Information on Small Savers Montessori

Small Savers Montessori is one of more than one-hundred federally sponsored child care centers across the country. This includes centers in the Department of State, the Department of Justice, the Department of Commerce, and the congressional daycare, which is supported separately by the Chief Administrative Officer and the Architect of the Capitol. Each center provides public servants with affordable child care options. Federally sponsored centers such as Small Savers help to address a need for safe, high-quality care for many federal workers.

Small Savers is proud to provide high quality child care to families with infants through children that are age 5. We are licensed by the Office of the State Superintendent of Education, accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), and in good standing. Title 40 of the United States Code, section 590, gives Federal agencies the authority to establish child care centers in Federal space for their employees.
